- E clip external retaining rings are normally used to block bearings. Mounted to the shaft (with manufacturer-recommended slotting via plate below).
- Built to DIN 6799 standards.
- Materials: Zinc Steel (black), made from 65Mn spring steel, then hardened and blackened with phosphorus. Has a hardness of rockwell C46 or higher.
